Martin Lundstedt

After obtaining his Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management, Martin Lundstedt joined Scania as a trainee in 1992. He commenced his career at Scania working within the Engine production as Production Engineer, and thereafter as Manager in the field of Engine production. In 2001 Martin Lundstedt became Managing Director of Scania Production Angers in France. He came back to Sweden in 2005 and became Head of Product Marketing, and was one year later appointed Senior Vice President Trucks. Martin Lundstedt was appointed Executive Vice President Franchise and Factory Sales in 2007.

 

Erik Ljungberg

After obtaining his Master of Science in Business Administration with a major in Strategic Management, Erik Ljungberg joined Scania as a trainee in 1997. From 2000 he was head of communication and marketing at Scania Czech Republic s.r.o. and then held the same position at Scania Deutschland GmbH until 2006. In 2006 he left Scania and became Head of Corporate Marketing at CLAAS KGaA mbH. In July 2008 he returned to Sweden and Scania and was appointed Senior Vice President Corporate Relations.

 

Henrik Henriksson

After graduation from university studies (Business Administration) in Sweden, Great Britain and the US, Henrik Henriksson started at Scania as a Management Trainee in 1997. From 2001 he was responsible for Scania’s commercial activities in Southern Africa, based in South Africa. In 2004 he came back to Head Office in Sweden as Vice President for Sales of Buses and Coaches and was in November 2007 appointed as Senior Vice President Trucks within Franchise and Factory Sales.

 

Jonas Hofstedt

Graduating with a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Jonas Hofstedt joined Scania in 1983 as a test engineer in development of cooling, gas and lubrication systems. He then worked as a test engineer for advanced combustion concepts and from 1986 with development of Electronic Engine Control systems. From 1991 he was manager of Engine auxiliaries and in 1994 he became Project Manager for the new V8 engine. From 1997 he held a position as Project Manager for the new modular engine range. In 1999 he became Engineering Director and responsible for Cab Development and three years later responsible for Engine Development. Jonas Hofstedt was appointed Senior Vice President Powertrain Development in 2007.

 

Björn Westman

Joined Scania as a trainee in 1985, after graduating with a M. Sc. in Mechanical Engineering. First engineering tasks pre-development of Scania Opticruse. From 1991 he headed engine control systems. From 1996 he worked for Cummins Engine Company in the US, initially managing the fuel system controls for unit injector systems. He later assumed responsibility for con-trol and system architecture in the predevelopment of Scania XPI. Returned to Scania in 1999 as Senior Manager, leading the development of electrical system for the P-, G- and R-series trucks. In 2002 he became head of systems development and in 2007 he was appointed Engineering Director, Head of Engine Development.
